Chapters

Campus chapters are the heart of URGE’s work. All over the US, groups of dedicated students are working tirelessly for reproductive justice -- tackling issues specific to their campus, speaking out about state policy, & contributing to national campaigns.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo, CA

Triota is a Feminist Activism Community and Women’s and Gender Studies Honors Society. Triota was founded as an honors society at Cal Poly in 2012, but its members quickly realized it had the capacity to do more. In 2013, they re-branded as the Feminist Activism Community and established themselves as an affiliate chapter of URGE. The purpose of the Feminist Activism Community is to raise awareness of events, policies, and rhetoric that concern feminist and reproductive justice issues, foster an environment for all forms of feminism at Cal Poly, and encourage activism and community building.
