Kelly Baden brings more than a decade of experience in the reproductive health, rights, and justice field to her role as Director of Reproductive Rights at SiX, where she established the organization’s first issue-specific program and launched the Reproductive Freedom Leadership Council, a cohort of more than 250 state legislators from 43 states declaring their support for and leadership on a comprehensive platform of values on reproductive health, rights, and justice.
Previously, as the Director of State Advocacy for the Center for Reproductive Rights, Kelly oversaw state and local advocacy throughout the United States, including shaping policy and advocacy strategies in the states, leading convening’s for state legislators, and building on-the-ground support for major initiatives ranging from U.S. Supreme Court cases to the Act for Women campaign. Kelly has also worked at the National Institute for Reproductive Health, Physicians for Reproductive health, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of New Jersey, and EMILY’s List. Kelly serves on the board of URGE (Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity) and is a recent Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice Fellow with the Rockwood Leadership Institute.
