Reproductive Justice Leadership Institutes
URGE hosts Reproductive Justice Leadership Institutes to introduce students throughout the country to the reproductive justice movement, build networks of student activists in our priority states, and assist students who are interested in creating or strengthening a campus URGE chapter. The Leadership Institute is a weekend-long conference and is open to young people (age 18-25) throughout the state.
The weekend includes conversations about reproductive justice at the intersections of race, class, gender, and faith, the political landscape in the state and strategies for campus organizing. Twenty-five students will be accepted to each Institute. Only young people currently living in the state are eligible to attend. All expenses are paid for by URGE.
Reproductive Justice Leadership Institutes will be happening in the Fall of 2016. Check back for information about how to apply.
