Reproductive Justice Leadership Institutes

URGE hosts Reproductive Justice Leadership Institutes (RJLIs) to introduce students throughout the country to the reproductive justice movement, build networks of student activists in our priority states, and assist students who are interested in creating or strengthening a campus URGE chapter. The RJLI is a weekend-long conference and is open to young people (age 18-25) throughout the state.

The weekend includes conversations about reproductive justice at the intersections of race, class, gender, and faith, the political landscape in the state and strategies for campus organizing. Only young people currently living in the state are eligible to attend. To ensure the best environment for group learning, each RJLI has a limited number of seats available – apply below and your State Organizer will follow-up on whether you have been selected to attend.

There is a $25 fee for the training and all other expenses (travel, hotel, food) are paid for by URGE. There are scholarships available – please contact your State Organizer if you have a financial hardship.
