Campus chapters are the heart of URGE’s work. All over the US, groups of dedicated students are working tirelessly for reproductive justice -- tackling issues specific to their campus, speaking out about state policy, & contributing to national campaigns.

Activists for Reproductive Independence & Social Equity (ARISE) is an active chapter and Community Action Network (CAN) based in a border community in Texas that faces harsh restrictions on abortions access and intolerant rhetoric from anti-choice defenders. Nonetheless, young folks in the Rio Grande Valley advocate through campaign development, artivism, and more to educate their communities on reproductive rights and mobilizing young people to fight back against all forms of reproductive injustice. University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) also hosted a stop of the national #AbortionPositive tour in Spring of 2019. You can follow them on Instagram @URGE.RGV and on Twitter @URGERGV1.
