Abiha Zakariya

Individual Giving and Alumni Relations Manager

Abiha Zakariya (she/her/hers) is a proud Muslim,1.5 generation immigrant from Karachi, Pakistan, by way of Southern California, Washington, DC, and now, Austin, TX.

Abiha attended the University of California, Irvine, where she studied International Relations. Abiha’s commitment to making a better world has found her wearing many different hats in the non-profit space from fundraising, development operations, database administration, project management, community building, event planning, and grant writing. Her professional experience includes managing fundraising programs and associated operations for various education, health, and human services organizations including City Year, Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA, UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Green Door Behavioral Health, National Consumers League and People’s Community Clinic.

She lives with her husband and their Russian Blue cat. In her free time, Abiha enjoys dancing to her own beat, reading anything, hosting a scrumptious meal for friends, and making sure she and those around her smile at least once a day.
