Nico Pang (they/them)
Training & Curriculum Development Manager
Nico Pang is a facilitator, writer, and organizer fighting for liberated futures where young people, especially trans and nonbinary youth of color, have all they need to thrive. Passionate about reproductive justice, Nico believes in centering those in the margins and cultivating spaces where communities can grow and build power together.
Before joining URGE, Nico worked at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, where they developed trainings on abortion stigma, medical racism, gender-affirming care, and other equity-focused initiatives for staff and healthcare providers across the state. Nico previously coordinated leadership development and social support programs for queer and trans young people at BAGLY (Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth) and high school students at YW Boston. While at Tufts University, Nico got their start in movement building as a student organizer for anti-displacement campaigns and a youth slam team coach with community organizations in Boston Chinatown. Outside of work, Nico is a poet and playwright who loves reading queer fiction, cooking with their loved ones, and being by the water.
