Omar Lazcano

Summer RRASC Intern

Omar Lazcano (he/him) was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. He is currently majoring in political science and minoring in Spanish at the University of Texas at Arlington. He has been attentive to issues of social justice since high school, as they enfolded within his life and my community, Ever since, he has used his skills to help combat these issues. Reproductive justice for him is paramount to the goal of ensuring that civil rights are not only protected, but made equally accessible to all. His favorite things: almost any mammal, Solange Knowles’ music, justice, art, and poetry. Omar is supported by the Civil Liberties and Public Policy Program and uses he/him pronouns.
