Transforming the Youth Agenda into Policy
We advocate for policy that is aligned with our community’s priorities, concerns, and hopes. In both local town halls and the halls of the U.S. Capitol, URGE leaders lobby for legislation that reflects the values of our youth activists.
URGE’s bold agenda centers the needs and voices of young adults, particularly LGBTQIA+ and people of color. We are building a world in which we can live with justice, love freely, express our gender and sexuality, and define and create families of our choosing.

This agenda is a foundation for young people’s liberation and serves as a starting point for policymakers who want to engage with young people in moving us closer to Reproductive Justice.
