Chloe Chaffin – Board Member-at-Large

URGE Chapter Executive Secretary & Founder
Chloe Chaffin is a lifelong Kansan dedicated to advocating for a more just and equitable world. A recent graduate of Washburn University, they served for two years as the founding president of the Washburn URGE chapter and one year as the executive secretary before graduating with a degree in political science and minors in English and poverty studies. Chloe is now working towards an MPA with dual concentrations in public policy and nonprofit management at the University of Kansas. During the day, Chloe serves as the Fellowship Manager for Loud Light, a Kansas-based, statewide, nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to youth civic engagement and protecting voting rights for marginalized communities. They continue to volunteer and engage in their community in many other ways and are proud to continue their work at URGE as a board member after having learned so much through student chapter participation.
