Lily O (she/they) is a Black disabled woman whose gender is political and nonbinary. Lily is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and has been writing as a blogger and culture critic since 2021. Her work has been published in Wear Your Voice Mag, and she is currently working on a research project into Civil Rights Violations of Vulnerable Communities Impacted by Covid-19 for Allston-Brighton Health Collaborative. She is also composing a book on the Black endometriosis experience. All of Lily’s writing seeks to tell the truth in an unflinching way that forces the systems of power and domination to acknowledge their presence. They enjoy writing memoir style the most and run a blog on Substack called Verbal Tea. She is a powerhouse emerging writer who will make waves in the writing community.
