We URGE Action: Be Informed. Speak Out. Vote.

We are a Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization that envisions a world where we can all live with justice, love freely, express our gender and sexuality, and define and create families of our choosing. Working across the progressive landscape, we must build meaningful connections, share knowledge, and bridge generational gaps. Our movement needs your support.

At URGE, we center the leadership of young people who are Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, as well as women, queer, trans, and non-binary individuals.

Together, we must meet the urgency of now with advocacy action. Learn how to show collective power with us below.

Donate

When you donate $50, it helps recruit and onboard a new class of students, providing a semester’s worth of mentorship, training, resources, and more.

Speak Truth to Power

Your voice is your most critical tool to use when advocating for Reproductive Justice. Use it to take action, by voting this November and by signing your name to the petitions below to stand with URGE and the movement.

Learn About And Promote RJ In Your Community

Change starts with a conversation. With the right tools, every individual can change hearts and minds. We’ve created a toolkit to help you learn about Reproductive Justice and talk about it in your community.

Host a House Party

A fun and impactful way to bring together friends, family, or colleagues to raise funds and awareness for Reproductive Justice. With our House Party Kit, you’ll have everything you need, from sample invitations to pledge forms, to make your event a success.

How to use it: Plan a gathering, invite your community, and share why URGE’s advocacy work matters. Use the kit to set a fundraising goal and encourage guests to contribute. The funds you raise will directly fuel the movement for reproductive justice.

A Letter to the Next Generation: The Importance of RJ Advocacy

A guided template to help you share your wisdom, memories, and hopes with the young people in your life.

How to use it: Start with the sample letter and adapt it to your own story. The template gives you structure, and the power of its words comes from your personal voice. Share it with your child, grandchild, students, or mentees to inspire them to see themselves as leaders in the fight for Reproductive Justice.

Building Bridges: Conversations About Reproductive Justice

Practical conversation starters to help connect across generations and spark meaningful dialogue.

How to use it: Choose the scenario that best fits your daily life, at the dinner table, on a walk, or while watching the news. Use the starter phrase to open the door, and the confidence tip to keep the exchange supportive. This tool is meant to make big conversations feel approachable.

Our Resource Archive

A living library of reports, fact sheets, and advocacy materials. How to use it: Search the archive when you want to dive deeper into specific issues. It’s especially useful if you’re preparing for a community discussion, writing to lawmakers, or mentoring younger advocates.

Shifting Culture

Our program focused on transforming the cultural conversation around reproductive justice through art, media, and storytelling. How to use it: Explore these resources to learn how culture shapes the way we talk about reproductive justice. Share the materials in your networks to help push back against stigma and build a new, more supportive narrative.

Smashing Stigma Comic Book

A youth-driven comic that tackles abortion stigma through storytelling and art. How to use it: Read the comic yourself, then share it with young people or peers to spark honest conversations. It’s especially useful for easing into topics that may feel intimidating.
