Across the country, we are seeing escalating attacks on trans lives, bans on health care for trans youth and adults, and criminalization of parents and doctors who support trans youth. The same people who are behind these attacks are also banning abortion care, IVF, and criminalizing pregnancy outcomes, including miscarriages.

These efforts are all about control: control over who can become a parent and when, how we parent our children, and who gets the care they need to survive and thrive.

Our fight is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to make personal health care decisions free from political interference. We want everyone to have access to the full spectrum of care, without shame or barriers.

At URGE – we fight for reproductive justice for all. We know what’s best for us and our bodies, our lives, and our futures. When we protect the rights of trans people to access healthcare, we strengthen the broader movement for reproductive justice. When we fight for abortion access, we are also fighting to ensure that no one is denied the care they need because of who they are.
