What I do at URGE:
My work as the Director of Human Resources focuses on all of our internal policies, processes, and procedures for our staff. I focus on being clear, just, accessible, and understood by staff and management, to ensure that URGE is a great place to work.
What inspires me about working in Reproductive Justice:
I am inspired to do work that focuses on developing the leadership of young people from marginalized communities and identities.
My first “activist” memory is:
Working with my parents to support the end of apartheid in South Africa
Things I LOVE:
Justice, music, and honoring the humanity of all people (even if we don’t agree)
When I need to recharge my batteries, I:
Travel back home to Jamaica
