What I do at URGE:
As URGE’s Communications Manager, I support the organization in shifting culture by developing innovative social media and digital strategies to build young people’s power for the Reproductive Justice movement.
My advice for young people who want to work in Reproductive Justice:
Never let anyone tell you that you’re dreaming too big or your idea of what a liberated world is, is unachievable. Our movement requires young people who have a clear vision of what radical change looks like, and in the words of Mariame Kaba, “hope is a discipline.”
The aspect of Reproductive Justice that I’m most passionate about is:
Self-managed abortion access and advocacy
I feel most liberated when:
I’m in community with those I love the most and we can be our most authentic selves without judgement
When I need to recharge my batteries, I:
