ChoiceWords is a blog that highlights the young people’s views on issues related reproductive justice and gender equity. Although some of the work is written by URGE staff and partners, most of the writing comes from URGE young leaders.
Primarily, the writing on ChoiceWords is a part of the URGE Our Folks: Voices of LGBTQ+ Youth of Color program. Through Our Folks: Voices of LGBTQ+ Youth Of Color, spokespeople and storytellers have the opportunity to gain skills in giving media interviews, writing for a variety of blogs and media outlets, and using social media to amplify their work.
