Georgia Southern Working to Change Health Services

Although Georgia Southern has only been a chapter for a few years, they have been making significant progress on their campus. They assembled the first progressive student coalition to focus on securing better health care services for their students as a group called CASH (The Coalition for Accessible Student Healthcare). The University just received a large grant to reform their health services and the chapter has been included as a consulting resource. CASH is working with the administration to ensure that the new health center is LGBTQ inclusive and comprehensive information is available about pregnancy options, including abortion referrals. This chapter is working hard to reshape the health services on their campus and has already had major victories!
